Q : What does MSD stands for?
A : MSD is an abbreviation of Malaysian Students Department. Its function is to help students with their problem while pursuing their studies.

Q : Who should register with MSD?
A : Any Malaysian Students who further their studies here in Canada have to register with the MSD no matter who sponsor them; MARA, JPA, TNB, PETRONAS, ESSO, FAMA, self sponsored, etc.

Q : Why students should register with MSD?
A : Since the MSD is part of the department of the embassy/mission office for your own safety and benefit, it is your duty to register your goodself and whether you are sponsored or non-sponsored students. Without having your records with us, it would be difficult for us to render assistance for this kind of request, if you do not register with MSD.
