Why Register

STUDENTS REGISTRATION AT MSD CANADA

A recent policy requires all Malaysian Students; sponsored students and non-sponsored students/private students  to  register with MSD (Malaysian Students Department).

Please bear in mind that your Malaysian International Passport is the Property of the Malaysian Government. Therefore you have to take good care of its safety especially. If you look at the inside of the back cover of your passport, note 3 reminds you to register at your nearest Malaysian Embassy / Malaysian High Commission office, once you are away from Malaysia.   Since the MSD (Malaysian Students Department)  is part of the department of the embassy / mission and you are a student,  then it is your duty to register your goodself and prove that you are loyal to your country.
